The route in short
Always on a cycle path, at certain times of day terribly congested. After Dobbiaco / Toblach (km 6), we cross Innichen / San Candido (km 11) and then the State Border (km 21). With a rapid descent along the course of the Drava River, we pass through Lienz (km 55) and shortly arrive in Oberdrauburg (km 76).

Environment and Landscape
A very easy stage, almost entirely downhill and on a cycle path, at certain times of day clogged with cyclists. Leaving Villabassa / Niederdorf, we take the cycle path again, which shortly after the Dobbiaco / Toblach train station bypasses the imperceptible Sella di Dobbiaco / Toblacher Feld and intercepts a small watercourse: this is the newly born Drava / Drau River, destined to flow into the Danube after 749 km and thus carry its waters to the Black Sea. Still on the cycle path – Drauradweg – after crossing Innichen / Innichen, we cross the state border at Prato alla Drava / Winnebach. In Austria, we pass without delay through Sillian and then into the narrow valley, which only opens up on the outskirts of Lienz. The environment remains mountainous: to our right loom the articulated Lienzer Dolomiten / Lienz Dolomites. In a slight falsopiano we shortly reach Oberdrauburg.
